Primary (5-10 years)
Suncorp NetSetGO is Australia’s official starter program for girls and boys aged 5 to 10. It’s a chance to learn the netball basics, get outside and make some friends. For a lot of kids, this is the first time they’ll pick up a netball or chuck on a bib. It’s a learning experience. And a lot of fun.
The program is split into 3 tiers, based on the age of the players:
Net: 10 week beginner skills program for players aged 5-6yo;
Set: 14 week beginner modified game play with weekly training for 7-8yo players;
Go: 14 week intermediate modified game play with weekly training for 9-10yo players.
Our Net program is run directly by Caloundra District Netball Association and typically takes place in Term 2. To be a part of this program please email netsetgo@caloundranetball.org.au
Our Set and Go programs are facilitated in conjunction with our clubs. With teams training during the week and playing their modified rules game on a Saturday. This typically runs from March to September. The contact information for each of our clubs can be found at the bottom of this page.
